Learn to sing with Gem Rose - Two hour workshop

This event is £25 for a two hour workshop, max 10 places. A deposit will be taken when you book your place.

A fun, relaxed workshop for anyone who's ever spent an hour in the shower belting out their favourite tunes and thought to themselves - 'I'd love to be able to sing..' During this 2 hour session you'll learn the building blocks of singing, such as voice care, breathing techniques, warm up routines, mouth shape, and vocal projection, with local professional singer / vocal coach Gem Rose. Perfect for absolute beginners, with no pressure to sing solo.

About the teacher: Starting as a dancer from an early age, Gem went on to study singing in her early 20s, beginning her vocal career as a Christina Aguilera tribute, and now working as a solo vocalist, as well as performing tributes to Lady Gaga and Pink, running and starring in her own function band, Abba tribute act (All About Abba), the 'Divas' show (a tribute to the world's best female superstars), and performing with 4 part vocal harmony group The Collective.

Over the last 2 decades Gem has performed to audiences of up to 30,000 people, counting famous names such as Professor Stephen Hawking among her fans, and now enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience, as a vocal coach and dance teacher, as well as leading an adult's performance group 'Relight My Choir'.
