Monthly Book Club EVENING

Shout out to all the local book lovers out there! Are you looking for a new book club to join that is local to you in Poole? Well look no further! 

We launched our monthly book club in our coffee shop, last year and has become so busy we have now got a lunch time one too! The club will be completely FREE and there will be a barista on site to order hot drinks, alcohol or perhaps even a slice of cake during your visit! Please note, this is a free event so a food or drink purchase on the night would be appreciated.

What is the next book?

Our next book to be be announced this week is "The Salt Path" by Raynor Winn

Just days after Raynor Finn learned that Moth, her husband of of 32 years, was terminally ill, they lost their home and livelihood. With nothing left and little time, they impulsively decided to walk the 630 miles South Coast Path, from Somerset to Dorset, via Devon and Cornwall. Living wild and free, at the mercy or the sea and sky, they discovered a new, liberating existence - but what would they find at the journey's end?

How does a book club work?

Each month there will be a new book, chosen by a member of the group for all to read, so that on the next monthly meet up everyone can share their thoughts and opinions.

The evening will allow time to discuss the book followed by half an hour to catch up and get to know your fellow book lovers!! 

The group will be for over 18's and ideally consist of 10 - 20 people, allowing space for everyones perspective to be heard, and regular attendance is recommended. So if you think this sounds right up your street, then why not come and join us for our next meet up
