About the event

Caroline uses her hands & thumbs to apply gentle pressure and massage techniques to specific reflex points on the feet, releasing blockages and restoring the free flow of energy.  Reflexology is beautifully relaxing and brings relief to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions and is suitable for all ages.  Caroline will be providing private 20 minute 1-2-1 treatments that will take place in a room above the café which will be warm, comfortable and confidential. Treatments are given fully clothed in a reclining chair, only your shoes and socks need to be removed.

Caroline is a full member of The Association of Reflexologist (AOR) and is committed to developing her skills and knowledge in accordance with their high code of practice

Tickets are just £15 and include a 20 minute session, a drink and a slice of cake.  A £5 deposit is taken, then you pay the balance in cash on the day.

What is Reflexology ?

The healing qualities of Reflexology date back to ancient Egypt, India & China, it is a natural healing therapy based on the principle that the anatomy of the body is reflected on zone’s of the feet, hands & face.  Sensitive trained hands may detect tiny deposits and imbalances within the body.  Pressure using fingers & thumbs are applied to the feet, to stimulate the flow of energy, improve nerve function and allow the circulation of blood and lymph to flow with an aim to encourage the body’s own internal healing mechanisms, thus placing it in a better position to rebalance itself and achieve homeostasis.

Reflexology has a positive effect on symptoms such as:

• Promoting deep relaxation, which helps relieve the symptoms of stress, anxiety & depression.
• Helps aid digestion
• Improving mood & overall well-being, bringing balance to the physical & emotional body
