Wine Tasting & Talk

It’s time to meet the Winederful Team, responsible for bringing the best Calabrian wine and cuisine to the UK. Come and join us for an informative wine tasting evening with Simone Ippolito, a 29 year old, ex-professional Italian basketball player who is now the CEO of Winederful. 

Simone enjoys anything related to good food and good wine and for years he has dreamed about bringing the flavours and smells of his own land to the UK. He is delighted that this has now become reality and is very excited about coming to Club Hub to talk to us all about his family vineyard and provide tasters of his delicious wine!

Simone will be bringing a selection of 6 different wines for us to try, paired with delicious Italian boards of meats and nibbles to graze on throughout the evening. 

About Winederful

The idea behind Winederful started on a crisp winter’s day in 2020. Two friends – Simone and Liam – were sharing a meal, along with a bottle of wine that Simone had received from his family vineyard, Ippolito, which is located in the Calabria region of Southern Italy. The two men were struck by the quality and complexity of the wine, and after a glass or two, they both decided that it would be selfish to keep such an experience to themselves! 

They wanted others to be able to access such exquisite wines, across the UK, so Liam and Simone therefore started importing wine from Italy, to the UK, on a wholesale distribution basis. Winederful is not about building an empire. It began from a passion for outstanding wine, shared by two friends, and this feeling continues to be at the heart of their business.
